A BIT OF MY PERSONAL HISTORY

I was born in 1952, in a small mining town called Krugersdorp, Transvaal, South Africa, now known as Gauteng. I was raised and attended school in Afrikaans, which was the apartheid regime’s language. I could read fluently at the age of four, both in my home language and English. That was and still is my escape from reality. We did not have it easy and I plan to write about that in future. Daisy loved her sessions in the hydrotherapy pool and they made a real difference to her mobility and muscle strength. I have no doubt that hydrotherapy was one of the main contributors to Daisy's recovery.
